Just curious if have you used any ADS products?
To touch on your last statement. Word of mouth is spread faster with the advent of social media. Many brands do this and even the small brands to bump their sales. It is essentially marketing 101. Back in the day the forum was used in this...
I do agree with you that coating wheels makes them easier to clean. I was an early adopter of ADS before anyone knew who they were. I essentially had videos up before anyone on their coatings. I had a gut feeling that these guys would take off and be successful.
With that said I did use...
The water spot remover will probably not do much considering the abrasives used did not remove them. It sounds like the wrap is in need of replacement. Is it gloss or matte?
Thanks for posting my video. I would not say the coating performed poorly. On trim that is in good shape and well maintained it is not going to give that wow factor as it does not need any type of restoration from the black dye. DJ of ADS even commented stating the same thing. Coatings in...
Perl will work. You will just have to apply it very often as it does not last that long.
WETS (Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant) this is a good option.
If you are looking for a coating, Armour Detail Supply recently released their coating. I recently had a chance to apply it.
Bradley from...
Check out videos from Labocosmetica on the 2 pH wash. Also you can "clay" a coating with the right fine grade clay towel and an iron remover. I have done this without imparting marring. And in some instances you may need a water spot remover to remove any mineral deposits. Top up with the...
I have used V6 many times with no issues staining any sponge unless you had some type of oily substance on the surface. Use some APC and rinse it out and it will clean up.
Idrosave and Gyeon are sponge stainers though.
The new gold sponge is not that great and the more I use it, the less...
One coating that gets lost in the mix is cquartz lite. Wipe on and wipe off. It is not that slick though. More of a smooth sensation. Comes in a large offering and can always be topped with Gliss if slickness is important. If not then ADS Phobic would be my choice if slickness is a top...
You could put all the coatings you listed side by side on white paint and it will be hard to discern any differences between them when it comes to appearance. Take it from someone who has owns a white car.
One benefit the Adams coating has is the UV tracer which allows you to see that the...
Even with a coating it will still show scratches as those areas are just super soft. The best option is to PPF those areas if you wish to have them looking pretty much pristine all the time. A coating is the second option.
