First of all, I love the car. I tried to convince my wife to replace her Odyssey with that car (in the same color), but she balked, saying it just wasn't her. She ended up with an Accord. Seeing what you were able to do with your car only increases my pain. Great work!

Terrible. I've only experienced the opposite. When I bought my Audi last year, I test drove it at the first dealer I went to, but continued to price shop. At the next two dealerships, they insisted I drive the car even though I explained I had already done so.

In my opinion, if the OP can use the product the way it was originally intended on being used, the customer service solution is just that--a solution. And it's fair. Would it be nice to get something for nothing? Sure, but that would be considered going above and beyond. And let's be fair...

Reminds me that although Ferraris don't have to be red, they're SUPPOSED to be red. Great work on the detail. I can't even imagine what it's like to work on something so iconic.
