Myself and Jama had been discussing a detail since the weekend of the 13th and on Tuesday the 17th I got a call from his mom , Tanya. She was abit skeptical at first about what I am doing and charging etc. After a brief explanation and a quick chat I had convinced her and the car was booked for Tuesday to Thursday. About 5:30pm on Tuesday Jama and his mom rocked up to drop the car off. After they had left I did a quick inspection and this is how I found the car.
After a quick wash and dry with some Sonax Car Shampoo I was able to see the true condition of the paint.
Sadly , the whole car was full of tar contamination
After a days claying taking all the contamination out , and managing to clean the interior and engine bay this is where I had enough and called it a day.
The following morning I again gave the car a wash and dry to ensure all the dust particles is removed. At this stage it was time to take out the polisher and get to restoring the paint. I opted for yellow cutting pads combined with Menz FG400 , followed by green polishing pads and Menz SF4000. After the 2 steps I sealed the paint with Menz Powerlock. Sadly I did not have alot of time for pictures during the process but here is some reflection shots afterwards. Paint feels good , if not better than new !!

I finally dressed the tires and all the other plastic trimmings on the exterior. As I pulled the GTi out for the owner to collect , Nando rolled in with his ST so sadly I do not have any photos of the complete product , but stay tuned for the ST's detail thread. Proud to announce that the owner of the GTi was extremely happy with the outcome of my work.
