Could someone please explain the difference between sanding blocks and wet sanding ? because there are no stores near me that sell the blocks but i can get paper/blocks.

Since i dont own a sanding block, what grit block would i need ? Edit: I read the link you gave me and it explained it all, and to be sure If i wetsand i use water and sanding paper wrapped in a block or i can just use the sanding block 1000 grit and it does the same thing ?

I was just told it could be that someone sanded the paint down to respray, if this was the case what can i do apart from respray to make it look its best. Im going to be going to a detailer to help me out, just curious to what they say it is to the method they will take. .
