I think i have done it right? Chemical guys products

It excels at making metal flakes pop, one of it's best features. I will agree though by itself it isn't the best.

I think i have done it right? Chemical guys products

Can you explain why you think Blacklight is overrated. It is one of my favorite products. Easy on, Easy off, mild cleaning ability, and a great shine that last for months. I agree if you are going to use Glossworkz glaze that I wouldn't apply Blacklight, I would apply Jetseal 109 instead...

First Choice Wax for Black Mercedes E550

Chemical Guys Black wax is also an amazing product. It has lasted on my GTI for about 3 months through snow, ice, and of course rain.

Money in selling salvage cars ?

The main thing to look for is the REASON it is salvaged in the first place. A wreck can be fixed, might be problematic in the future. Flood damage is not easily fixed (run as fast as you can from it) Stolen car, detail it, apply for a clean title, sell as a clean title vehicle (where the...

Fast cheap way to dry semi trucks?

That is a beautiful semi. I always feel extremely short standing next to one of those.

Looking for a new wax suggestion

Have you tried using a paint sealant underneath a wax? I love the "hard-wet" look I get from it.

    Not getting any results

Trust me VW paint is really hard. I used Chemical Guys V34 with an orange pad to remove swirls from a Blue Golf R recently. It removed the surface swirls, but didn't touch the scratches. On my car I use Wolfgang UC and it works really well combined with an orange pad. You just need to go...

    DA polisher on interior carpets?

I use the velcro backed carpet/upholtery brush from Chemical Guys on the carpets. It works great, but sometimes if you hit the center bump it will come off, woes of velcro I guess. I used to use one that I screwed on, but I don't like changing backing plates all the time on the PC 7424.

    vinyl decals

Thats a beautiful Candy White VW you have there :xyxthumbs:. I am a dubber myself, a CSG MK6 2 door 6MT and my wife has a Candy White MK6 DSG 4 door. I was thinking about doing something similar to her car to not only protect it, but to make it look better.

Optimum No Rinse Wash and Shine?

Get Hybrid V7 for sure! It will not adversly effect your LSP. Some say it mutes the beading effect a little bit, but thats it. It is with out a doubt one of the best spray sealants out there to use for a quick shine. Super easy to use and smells fantastic.

    Are yellow pads still used?

Don't tell me that, I might have to spend more money on stuff I don't really need :)

    Are yellow pads still used?

I use Yellow pads only because I don't have access to compressed air. Yellow pads have done a great job for me on everything I needed it for.

Local "Detailer's" Craigslist Ad = Scary!

Craigslist is a crap shoot, but I advertise on Craigslist, it is how I got my first 5 customers. Now I am about to move to another state so I have to do it all over again (sigh).
