Back when i had a glossy clearcoat, i'd experience this after every winter. Just heavy contamination. No big deal :)

I'll give the Windex a shot. The $35 for 12oz would be fine if it were more than what is likely the equivilant of a generic degreaser. The problem is that there's not much information on it other than "this stuff cleans great!" Thanks for your suggestions and help so far :)

It was one of those "favor" jobs. It was their first time doing a finish like this. And it would be fun to learn how to work this out myself for future reference.

I am going to send BASF an e-mail to see if there is a grit of sandpaper or scotchbrite that can closely match the finish of the clearcoat i used, but i'm really hoping someone here has experience with this :(
