    Gliss: No white haze?

Thanks, I went ahead and finished it. I played with different flash times until I felt comfortable. Gliss is wicked easy to put down and between the UK and the Gliss, the gloss is off the charts.

    Gliss: No white haze?

I applied UK Cquartz last weekend and the car has been garaged ever since. I wiped it down again today and went to apply Gliss for the first time. I read up on it before hand, but it says it flashes to a white haze and then immediately buff off. On my black paint, it thus far is not flashing...

    Broken?

Thanks for the tips. I think I'm going to get the GG6. 109 bucks and free shipping is too much to pass up I think.

    Broken?

I'm leaning that direction...It likely is overkill for a weekend warrior like me, but I'm also a sucker for german products..Not to mention I do get annoyed with my pad stalling on every contour with my PC and it sounds like that's not an issue with the Flex. Does anyone know why the pink...

    Broken?

Thanks for the replies guys. I was afraid that would be the answer. :( I know this was an anomaly as the PC is very well reviewed and frankly I liked it a ton for the last few years. However, I also admit that I'm scared to death of buying another one after today. I mean that could have...

    Broken?

I was using my Porter cable today with a white polishing pad and megs cleaner wax 6. Nothing too crazy. However, about half way through my backing plate flew off. It doesn't look like it just came loose, it looks like it broke. Am I just out of luck on this? It's only four years old and...

found some very nice drying towels at wal-mart!

Has anyone tried the Garden Botanika dish drying mat? It says its microfiber, looks similar to my "auto" drying mat. I can get a pack of 3 for 18 bucks on amazon...free shipping. I might try it out, that would be sweet if it works well.

    Steam cleaner or Carpet Cleaner?

That mat looks pretty good. I'm looking at the bissell pro heat as well since I'm just doing my own car and can't spring for an extractor. If I can get that type of results I'd be happy.

LSP questions for 1977 Orange Roadrunner

Hey guys, I'm heading back to my Dad's place this weekend and he wants me to put an LSP on his Roadrunner. I have a few questions for you. 1. I'm not sure if it is single stage or not. I'm not doing any correction on this, just an LSP. So does it matter if it is single stage or not? 2...

    Meguiars Mirror Glaze line.

I just put #21 synthetic sealant on my sister-in laws car last night. I actually do like it quite a bit, it gives a real nice reflective shine and is super easy to use. It just never makes it onto my cars with the shelf full of powerlock, WG 3.0, 915, and a whole host of waxes.

    dust

I have two blacks cars that are garaged at night. My california duster is my best friend this time of year with the pollen. I have not encountered any scratches. I only use it as long as I'm sure it is just pollen or very light dust, never anything remotely requiring a waterless or normal wash.

    The most over-rated products?

I'll throw my two cents in and say 845 for my taste. Even on a properly prepped car it doesn't seem to last as long as others are getting out of it. The look is just OK on my black cars as well, so maybe the color of car matters on that. 915 on the other hand I really, really like, both for...

    Seat covers

My front seats in my 2005 Ford Escape are showing some pretty good wear. (they are the pleather/vinyl material). I tried to buy some seat covers from Wally world, which ended up not being good at all. They won't stay on and look like crap. Does anyone have any suggestions for buying some...

Wax not beading after 2 weeks.

PM me I guess. I have a ton of waxes/sealants so that's not necessary. And actually 845 is only 15 bucks to begin with so I don't want you to end up not getting the best trade. Let me know what you got, I'm only looking for a sample sized bottle pretty much.

    Rinseless wash and gloss/QD???

I've used DP RWG diluted as a QD. I guess it works fine, depending on what I'm trying to do. I sometimes use that after I've used my california duster to remove the pollen we get so bad here. But if I really want to add shine or as drying aid, I'm hooked on Finish Kare 425. Love that...
