Detailing a SMC (sheet moulding compound) vehicle ??

most likely a standard BC/CC system as mentioned above. Just keep in mind that materials other than metal have different heat dispersion abilities. This is to say that when buffing on abs/fiberglass/carbonfiber the body material cannot dissipate heat as quickly and makes burning or twisting the...

    Optimum Spray gun

Completely agree, its really convenient for places you cant reach also like in wheel wells and under the hood. Remember to dilute optibond 1-1 and to really shake the bottle up before usage in the gun. What other products are people using in the gun?

    Non regretful detailing product purchase

Am I the only one that prefers Meg's Last Touch over ONR for claying and quick dealing? I find that ONR lacks the lubricity that Last Touch does in both departments.

Found the cheapest extractor on the net.

You get what you pay for. If you want to get that unit and it works then fine. However, if you purchase that unit and wish you bought a name branded unit then the higher quality machine is going to make you wish you waited a week and saved up more for the better one.

    Steam Cleaner or Extractor?

i started with nothing and it worked for awhile. I then got a steam cleaner, "a VX" and was amazed with what it could do with leather, vents, cupholders, door jams... the list goes on, then I got an extractor and wondered why i ever thought that a shop-vac was suitable for pulling crud out of a...

    Newbie to motorcycle detailing

get a chrome polish, small pads, and a stopwatch. Why a stopwatch? Because bikes take forever due to the tight areas. Tin foil and chrome polish are awesome on really trashed chrome.
