Whink is my last ditch effort when all else fails. It’s acid so use gloves. I put it on a paper towel to apply it. Then wipe it off with windex. The windex seems to neutralize the acid. Then buff or polish the glass.
I’ve used Lexol cleaner & conditioner for years but haven’t done any leather for a while. Now we have 2 vehicles with leather to take care of. Is there anything better out there that isn’t a real chore to use?
It looks like time will not allow me to do all of my truck at same time. I have to clay, correct & polish each panel after work so I may have to do it in sections which I’m guessing will take about 2 weeks. Will the coating be good for that long once I open it? Longer if I can’t get it all done...
Thank You Mike!! You did not need to send me that backing plate but I am glad you did. Looks like it may be a while before they’re back in stock. You said it was a used plate but it looks darn near new to me. Your help, advice and customer service are many of the reasons I support this forum and...

One of my friends wants to add a 3” polisher to his collection. I have the Rupes mini and am happy with it. Flex & Griots have come out with new models since I bought my mini. I am not familiar with their 3” tools. I’m guessing he can’t go wrong with any of them. I do like the trigger on the...
Marine 31 UV50 coating. Bit time consuming to apply/remove but looks good with supposed long term durability. Just used it on my 30 year old gel coat. Looks almost new.
