Have to admit that applying wax by hand is a Zen like process - section by section. I find it relaxing. Here are a couple pics of my recent results, thanks again for the tips.

Thanks for the constructive advice Tato - much appreciated. That was kind of my thought process of how it might work if I didn't want to hand rub the wax off with microfiber cloths.

I always have applied the carnuba by hand, after using a paint sealant. As far as buffing it off with the Flex though - is there anything special I should do to prime the finishing pad?

What method are you suggesting?

Thanks for the excellent info Bob! The frigid weather of the past week has kept me from doing much, but the next few days will be above freezing so I can get my initial detailing done. Manufacture date was 8/13.

Flex XC3401 - had it for about a year, love it! I had good luck with my '12 GC - but it was bright white and easier to care for.

My question was meant to ask what the actual paint composition is - and how best to apply product to that type of paint. Thanks for the answer & suggesting the WG products - I'll check them out.
