Scratching the car with Rinseless/Waterless wash?

With frequent water restrictions in my area, ONR and UWWP are the only way I am able to keep my vehicles clean when restrictions are in place. I've been using ONR for years without issue. I even use the products on my black corvette without issue. If you know anything about corvette paint, you...

Well said Bobby and davidc. Eliminating guns will not solve the problem. When a person is intent on doing harm to another, they will find a way to carry it out. Survivors Recall 1927 Michigan School Massacre

    Best AIO?

I've been very pleased with XMT 360. I usually top it with Optimum Car Wax since OCW is so easy to use and the results are outstanding. Honestly, almost any product will provide excellent results using a polisher with good technique and pads.

    Water Restriction in place

Dealing with water restrictions is common in my area. I have used ONR for my rinseless wash for several years and I have not been disappointed. If my vehicles are very dirty, I'll use a 1 gallon Home Depot bug sprayer with 1oz of ONR to pre soak the panels. For waterless wash, I use UWWP+...

    2010 Black C6

As an owner of a black C6, I can truly sympathize. The clear is so easy to mar, but it is a pain to correct!

    what sealant

I've been pleased with XMT 360 Cleans, Corrects, Seals topped with Optimum Spray Car Wax (OCW). Since the vehicle is a daily driver and lives outside 24x7, I top with OCW about every three weeks to keep it looking good. Since OCW is a spray, it's as easy to use as a quick detail spray. I use...

    Recommened polisher/buffer

I have a Griot's Garage polisher which I really like due to the power of the polisher and lifetime warranty. It comes with a 6" backing plate, but I'd recommend going with a 5" backing plate and 5.5" 7/8" thick flat pads. The smaller flat pads are easier to work with and use. Also, search out...

Looking to detail my truck for the first time.

Also, are you going to be working by hand or using a polisher? Do you have any existing products you plan to use or are you going to being ordering product?
