    Help with Poorboy's EX

The directions basically say to clean the car, and polish before use. Put some on a MF sponge or whatever, and apply/remove one section at a time. It also says you can apply the whole car, and then remove. Then says to let it haze lightly, or let it sit 30-60 minutes for deeper shine. remove...

    Help with Poorboy's EX

I've used the poorboys EX a couple times now. Everytime, i get bad streaks and tiger stripes. I've used my dads wolfgang sealant, and had no trouble at all. Is the wolfgang just much better, or am i doing something wrong with the poorboys? The first time, i applied, let it haze, and removed...

Is it worth getting Nattys Blue

My dad just got souveran paste in. Him and I have both been using nattys blue. He just waxed both of his cars with souveran about an hour ago. They look nice, but have no difference then nattys blue (especially with the black car). I didn't get a chance to use it, but he said removal was better...

Using clay for the first time

I actually bought the clay today. I forgot what brand, but it was some cheap kit at autozone for about $11. It seemed the only difference between this and the mothers kit was that the mothers came with a bottle of wax. I tried it out on the hood, and it seemed to work. I could feel it catching...

Using clay for the first time

Thanks for the help everyone. I'll post pics as soon as I can, but I also live in Rhode Island and this New England weather is killing me. Everytime i want to do my car it rains! argh. I'll hopefully be able to do everything this weekend, including the mothers clay.

Using clay for the first time

I am using clay for the first time. Is there anything I should do other than wash my car before I clay? The clay will also remove all sealants and waxes I assume. I know theres better stuff out there, but I'm on a budget, so is mothers California Gold Clay Bar Paint Saving System good enough? If...

    Pinnacle Souveran vs. P21S

Can I please get some reviews on these two waxes. Obviously the benefit of p21s is the price, but it the pinnacle worth the extra $$$?

    California duster

I love this thing, but it leaves wierd little streaks on my car. Any way to avoid these annoying (but removable) streaks? I've heard just using the duster over and over, and it will eventually stop.

    QD: Ice

I normally stay away from Turtle Wax, but I have to admit, i kinda like Ice. For ten bucks, this stuff is great, and i dont have to worry about wasting it. Is the more expensive stuff that much better, or can i just stick with this? Also, can i use this when buffing out a wax or sealant to make...

    sealants and wax application

I have three different sealant's/waxes, and im not sure which ones i can use together, and what order i should apply them in for best results. (just incase it matters, i have a mettallic black paint) I enjoy waxing, so if i can apply all three, that would be great, but if theres no point to it...

Crow's Feet (I think thats what it's called)

Yeah, I'll see if i can get a picture, but it basically looks like tiny cracks underneath the clearcoat, its unlike swirls because basically, its not directly on the surface... they also seem a little more noticeable

Crow's Feet (I think thats what it's called)

I've recently discovered that my car has had a paint job before i purchased it. Overall, it came out well, except there are crow's feet (pretty sure thats what they call it) on the hood. My mechanic has told me that whoever painted it did not use primer before painting the car, and thats why i...
