Is it worth getting Nattys Blue

NB is worth trying. I just ordered some and I swear by Souveran nub paste. I also follow with Pinn Crystal mist and then with Adam's Detail Spray. It's a wet-ness like no other. My $0.02.

See isn't that funny, on my friends black M5 (e39 style) Natty's Blue looked slightly better, more of a deep, crisp, wet look. Souveran looked a little more warm/glowy to it which I've stated before, but we both like the look of NB better, just slightly. He tried Pinkwax and some of our Collinite and didn't care for either, they both have strong chemical smells too. Though right now he mixed it up and did a layer of NB topped with Souveran. Same prep and everything as before with Optimum Polish and Compound (he was the one who turned me on to the Optimum products). God Souveran smelled good though and is very easy to apply and remove, pry the easiest.

Could be the lines of the cars as well that help to show off a wax. I'd buy Souveran if we had a black vehicle, but I can always borrow some from my buddy.

dont believe the marketing alone ... Souveran looks better on all colors and makes a noticable wet difference.
 
My dad just got souveran paste in. Him and I have both been using nattys blue. He just waxed both of his cars with souveran about an hour ago. They look nice, but have no difference then nattys blue (especially with the black car). I didn't get a chance to use it, but he said removal was better with the nattys because sun, and time waited does not affect ease of removal with the poorboys. A few little tiger stripes also remained after use of souveran that required little extra effort to remove. His overall opinion was that they are almost identical, but the souverans expensive price and bad smell make the good-smelling nattys a better buy. I also have a black car and have been using nattys blue. I love it, expecially after sealing with poorboys ex or klasse.
 
Most nubas start to come alive after a day or two, give it time I assume it will look better tomorrow.
 
See that's weird again. Same as my buddy like I mentioned above, we both thought Natty's Blue looked a little wetter/deeper then Souveran on his Black M5 with same prep, Souveran was more glowy though if you like that. Both are very deep and wet but with different tones to them, comes down to what you prefer. I'm in no way putting down Souveran, though I thought it smelled good? One of our other friends has the same car but in Lemans Blue, think he has some picks on the M5 board have to check, used to use NXT untill he found out about the detail sites. He's used Natty's and Clearkote stuff, and he preferred NB as well over Souveran which he used a little from our friend. Both were topping RMG.

He has CK Moose Wax as well, gotta say it looks great too. I'm finding NB to have great durability as well even with all the rain and one long trip. IMO NB and Souv are both tops. I'd still buy Souv, especially if my friend runs out lol.

no, he used it like Megs Cleaner Wax which is smilar, except it looks much better then Megs which I've used. Kinda looked like EX to me (with carnauba not EX-P). Don't know about it's durability but looked pretty good for a one step product. Has a few other uses too, apparenty can be used for vinyl or plastic, I got some staining from the Megs when I tried it.

RMG topped with NB or Souv is incredible. I wonder what CK carnauba looks like?

Oh, I understand.
Everything I've heard says the ckc looks pretty wet and is a great product. But, I haven;t use dit. I do have some regualr Moose I ahvent; even tried!

Should try it, if you've used Megs Cleaner Wax it's like that on steroids IMO. Looks a lot better too. I'll still stick with AIO though lol.

might wanna check with dad ... sounds like he used Souveran improperly. Its a WOWO product. You dont allow it to dry or cure, you remove it while damp. I doubt theres a single person that wont admit its the easiest wax to remove when used as manufacturer directed.

I love pretty much all the Poorboy line up of products. Yet, if you have a bottle of LS that is full I would wait until it is low before ordering another product that will give you good results.

I have many different prodcuts lines but LS is the easiest spreading product that I have in my arsenal. Looks good. Beads well. I have many because I spend my money on products rather than beer. If money is no object get the Natty's Blue and see what we all figure out sooner or later. It is the prep that counts.
 
I'll have to agree with Killr...Souveran Paste (along with Victoria Waxes) are amazingly easy to use.

Scott, buddy and I were curious about that, although he has Souv topping NB right now. But we were wondering what would happen if you let it haze and buffed off? I think the makeup of Souv wouldn't really allow it to dry to a haze though, right?

It actually will haze, and quite quickly. It does however become much harder to remove. Are the looks different ?? I dont know how to answer that, but I can tell you it still works best, and looks excellent, when removed damp as per the directions.

Also , if you happen to get a stubborn spot, it is likely the use of too much product, you dont really need to lather the paint.

I just used Natty's Blue for the first time and it's definitely harder to remove than Souveran Paste OR DP MAX WAX. I only did from the front doors forward with the Natty's so far because it was harder to remove than I thought it would be. The wetness and shine it produced is very good though. I like DP Max Wax for price, ease of use, and quality. A good value when on sale for sure. I have to say though, that I didn't use a "moist" applicator with the Natty's as the directions state.....maybe that was my fault for it not removing easily??

And I don't know who said that Souveran has a "bad" smell, but maybe you meant "bad a$$" smell, because that's what it is! I think it smells AWESOME! Natty's Blue smells good too....like bubble gum maybe? DP Max Wax smells similar to Souveran, but not quite. :righton:
 
Souveran Paste will haze, and still VERY easy to remove when it does.
