I guess I misunderstood the role of the foam gun/cannon. I thought you could use it to coat the car in soap and then wipe down with a sponge followed by a rinse. Is that not enough?

Mike- I dont have a pic with me, but with a 2013 bmw 3 sedan or a 2006 highlander hybrid, both of which have an engine compartment with a lot of plastic. Will I do any damage if I just spray APC and rinse?
