TOGWT recommended 1Z Einzsett Deep Plastic Cleaner to clean finished/coated leather. I used it with a leather scrub brush then wiped with a damp towel. This stuff is amazing!! Other leather cleaners I've tried: optimum power clean(3:1), Lexol leather cleaner, chemical guys leather cleaner. The 1Z deep plastic cleaner easily outperformed them all!

alot of the Einszett line offers great results and rewards. I could not live with Cockpit Premium and some other offerings.

You have got my attention for a good leather cleaner. I would like to try it. Where do you get it? I dont see it on AGO.

Z, If you mail me an oz of it I'll do a side by side with pictures. :) and see what there is to see on the leather in our old car.

Still don't think I'd use this on my leather thats in good condition. I know the whole argument about you're not dealing with the leather only the coating but have the people that say that analyzed every leather coating and every leather conditioner to be able to make that statement. On a microscopic level do they know the size of the particles in each conditioner?

If 1z is better than Optimum Power Clean, it would be a good tire cleaner too. I would like to see some side by side pics.

I tested optimum power clean(3:1) side by side with 1Z deep plastic cleaner. Power clean did loosen dirt, but 1Z *noticeably* loosened a lot more. I will get some pics of this. I'm sure it would have been different if I used power clean straight, but that's not recommended on leather.

You're a MUCH better reviewer than me! I'll mail you 2 ounces and you can do a side by side review. :xyxthumbs: PM me you addy. I sprayed 1Z directly onto the leather, scrub with a leather scrub brush immediately, then wiped with a damp cloth right after. I thought I dis-colored the leather because there was such a big difference after the 1Z. I almost positive I didn't, I think it just cleaned it really well!

Actually, I tried all 3 products again on different coated leather. Chemical Guys Leather Cleaner worked just as well as 1Z Deep Plastic Cleaner. Optimum Power Clean(3:1) lagged behind the two as far as cleaning ability. Although, Optimum PC is awesome when used un-diluted on tires and wheel wells.
