    Carpro Elixir

Why mix your own? Because I can decide the volume that I want to mix, and most of us owned ech20 already, so It was just a matter of buying a small amount of reload and making distilled water. By the way if you use a lot of distilled water, which I do , for Detailing, cooking and my CPAP...

New Tires - Wheel Weights Showing - Have It Redone?

Yeah you can move them inside a bit, the problem is the design of your wheels allows you to see straight through and if you hide them behind one of the spokes, it will throw off the balance., your other alternative is to get some rustoleum paint and an artist paintbrush and paint them black.

I’ve used elixir on a dark anthracite car, a red car, and a Subaru blue car with no darkening affect… I love the stuff….. it’s a perfect middle ground between a detailer and sealant.

I must be doing something serious wrong. lol

I’m retired too, and several years ago I went through my detailing addiction where I was putting multiple coats of everything on the car and then suddenly I realized it was ridiculous. I suggest: 1. wash the car and polish it once a year with whatever you want 2. apply sealant every 6 to 8...

    New paint job curing time?

I had a spoiler repainted about two years ago, and the last words from the body shop guy as I left the door was “we baked it so you can do whatever you want to it right away“… And that was true, I polished it with no problems a half hour later. But the safe play is to wait 60 days, just...

    PPF

The best PPF is to buy from a manufacturer that makes a pattern. This makes it much easier for the installer to do it correctly. Xpel is about the best at this, they have patterns virtually every car. see their website.
