If I drop one then I consider all of my microfiber towels to be contaminated. I then throw all of them out and rebuild my collection.
I do not take any chances.
Saw thread title and the author of said thread: when opening this thread I was expecting to see a Subaru!
Nice looking car man, hope you enjoy it and I definitely know you will take care of it.
I have tried it and the foam seems to cling better when in a foam gun/cannon. I would also imagine that since people who have hard water report they don't have good 'foaming action' or the foam collapses quicker--then adding ONR or a like product would possibly help create more suds. I see David...
Thanks
Maybe I'll do some research as I know nothing about these meters and how they work exactly. It was just a thought and if I can get one, maybe I can do some testing with shampoos.
I have ~20 shampoos and I love testing claims and/or common beliefs...etc.

@PipUK or anyone that can answer- What about glass pH electrodes? Would this be accurate when measuring pH levels of a shampoo solution in cannons, guns and buckets? I could probably get my hands on one that's water proof. However, I'm not sure if it's worth a few...
Foaming agent, thickening agent and balancing pH is my guess
:o
What if I threw you a salt curve ball?

What about a glass pH electrode? Do we need to bust one of those out??
He (David from LC) brought those to the detail meet in Illinois. I'm not sure if anyone used them as I didn't notice and left early, but I remember him saying they were designed with the Rupes in mind.
Very well constructed after looking at them.
Yeah they look just like them...B and S probably is the manufacturer.
At least there are going to be more choices--more choices are always good.
Also, I saw in an e-mail showing the GG MF pads that Lake Country is going to release their new pads soon. Saw them in person; really well...
Yeah, excellent price.
I LOVE Adapt, Polish and Speed (haven't used Cut). I'm not sure how I feel about HD Wash yet and I haven't played around with Express too much, but initial thought was that it was easy to use.
:iagree:
I have recently been using 3D Towel Kleen ($17 per gallon) along with, as always-- Vinegar in the softener spot. The towels feel and look fantastic, so no complaints here.
I use it with my polishing pads as well--foam, MF and foamed wool.
Going to get this attachment; thanks!
Also, thanks zmcgovern45 for showing this setup as I know nothing about photography and didn't even think of using this type of equipment--just got mine put together today and love it already. Couldn't stand using halogens and the husky LEDs...
I...
If you're talking about the K5.540, then that is the exact one I have.
My only complaint is it is top heavy and tips over easily if I pull on the hose too much. I have zero idea why I haven't bought an extension hose, but now that I'm thinking about it I may go buy one today. Also, where you...
Re: help with yellow streaks
Yeah I could be looking at it wrong--not really sure.
...but the part that throws me off is he said that he can't feel it as if it was staining that's part of the paint now.
Re: help with yellow streaks
Solvent based tire dressing 'sling' can cause irreversible staining all the way to the base coat.
In fact I believe Nissan has banned this at all of their authorized car dealers (at least they sent out memos) and maybe other manufacturers have followed as well...
"...PermaPlate Paintguard’s exclusive paint sealant protection formula..."
All you need to know-- just another sealant being marketed to the uninformed customer.
It was nice meeting everyone and had a great time conversing with everyone.
The shop was beautiful Jeff--thanks for hosting/organizing the event and thanks to Roger for also getting everything organized.
Thanks to the vendors as well and the various professionals there giving some great...
