I hate these water restrictions too! My car is the dirtiest it's ever been. I'm really tempted to go out in the next rain storm and soap it up while it's pouring. lol Although this weather we've had today is just friggin nuts!

Another vote for the XMT glaze here. I love this stuff too. It wets the paint, brings out the color and gets the car ready for waxing. Here's another XMT glaze & Souveran pic on a 9 year old bug. :)

Just be careful with the Soft Scrub, I've used that in my kitchen and gotten scratches with it. Bon Ami and Bar Keeper's Friend don't scratch.

:iagree: I like to put their stuff in a ziplock so that the effect when they see their car is much stronger. Most people once they see their car all cleaned and detailed want to keep it that way and if all their stuff is neatly away in a ziplock, it's easier for them to just carry it into the...

It's a cleanser you can find in the cleaning aisle of your local stores. You can use it on all kinds of metals and it doesn't scratch. I use it for detailing wheels that have cemented brake dust on them and it works, but you just have to put some elbow grease behind it.:)

I use Bon Ami and a very soft cloth. I just wet the tip of the cloth and dip it in the Bon Ami to get some powder on the end and rub it with my finger to make it come off. Works for me. :)

Everyone has their own favorites and I wouldn't argue with RMG being a great product, but I still really like the XMT glaze and Souveran on a black car. The glaze really brings out the color and wets and glosses the paint. Just my humble 2 cents. XMT glaze and Souveran
