What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Yikes, glad everyone is OK but I'm guessing this made Easter brunch a bit awkward. I can't imagine the surprise for her! Sent from my SM-S938U1 using Tapatalk

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

Is it starkly different than the other DIY Legacy Sponges though (v1 or v2)? I'm starting to lean towards the thought that quantity might be a bit better than quality in this case. Will 4 or 5 average sponges circulated in one RW be safer than 1 quality sponge? It's aligning to the multiple...

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

He's a good guy. I contacted him on social media and he's been more than helpful for me. He's also made sure to help me out with orders through Autoality or bundle deals from his website if I recall. His lineup is mostly soap and LSPs but I've always liked what I tried. Rinseless Washes - 2022

I don't know if it's this thread or another by now but Sublime was included in a test. I think the member running it had an old version and couldn't get beyond the smell. I know the guy who makes Sublime mentioned he had introduced a revised version with more of a cherry smell. I agree though...

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I'd agree if not for some states doing ridiculous things to try to mitigate weather. The highways here are a chip trap no matter what you try. The Colorado Department of Transportation uses a mix of sand, salt, and aggregates, including larger rocks, to clear roads, especially in the winter...

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

They must want you to use one of their many chemicals that could be a drying aid with their RW? Maybe ZNR+? I've liked ZNR+ as well as their interior Protect product. Seems to be a decent brand overall - thanks for sharing Sent from my SM-S938U1 using Tapatalk

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

Up until about 3-4yrs ago there was a combined Taco Bell and KFC by my home. It's gone now and every single Taco Bell is some barely recognizable building that looks nothing like the brand that once embraced the Spanish speaking chihuahua... Sent from my SM-S938U1 using Tapatalk

    Cquartz UK and SIC coverage

Seems you got good advice but do note CarPro toppers tend to have a darkening effect. I definitely noticed this when I applied Gliss and did some spot polishing later on. You could tell in the right sunlight that there was a darker coating all around the polished spots. (This was Gliss on top of...

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Pretty sure the only thing to bet here is the over/under on specks of dirt? I sometimes wonder if Klasse has even run his car through the wash 2x in one day before I even finish prepping my Saturday detail supplies to get going. [emoji16] Sent from my SM-S938U1 using Tapatalk

What's With the $150 Coatings All of a Sudden?

I think you got it. My guess is the ceramic coating crowd via detailers is the crowd who can afford it and see the car as an investment. No clue what that percentage really is and I'm sure it's constantly fluctuating. Thinking back to 2020 and the push for small business + extra money being put...

What's With the $150 Coatings All of a Sudden?

I think you have to remove the forum die-hards who will sit and try to determine if the $250 coating is worth it. I'm more wondering, and as ceramic dominates the industry, what are customers demanding from the detailers? Do they want the $250 coating for $2k? I'm guessing the general public...

What's With the $150 Coatings All of a Sudden?

It's an interesting point because the economic signs suggest they should be releasing $20-$30 coatings... not going up in costs. I think this will come back to hurt them but I guess we'll wait it out and see... this hobby/industry seems to have unusual trends Sent from my SM-S938U1 using Tapatalk

Pan the Organizer product line...let's discuss@

No worries. I work in a Japanese company and do a lot of APAC focused work - completely understand the misleading piece there comparing Japan vs SK. Just to stir the pot, I'll pick China next time [emoji16] Sent from my SM-S938U1 using Tapatalk

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

They are fairly open about their story and that they source... just sounds like they had high standards to earn that coveted "preferred supplier" tag with them. They prefer though you focus on the "small village in Germany" (why not give me a name though?!). I'm too lazy to go beyond this About...

True, but I thought if I asked, it might motivate you with your sleuth skills. Got to find these magic microfiber makers! Just something different (in a good way) with the PFMs. To be fair though, I've seen some of the DIY towels at wholesale websites. Pretty sure I bought the DIY All Purpose...

No! Always got to buy that one extra item vs put money into these transport companies. Solid order none the less. [emoji846] Sent from my SM-S938U1 using Tapatalk
