REVIEW - Dr.Colorchip paint chip repair system - Garry Dean - Tampa, FL - Premium Custom Detailing

Seems way over priced if you had one little nick. I can see if one was doing a hood or bumper, being able to wipe on wipe is nice. I can yeild better results with factory touch up paint on single chips. and alot cheaper. Good review none the less, this stuff takes up time.

    Prices...

I would do alot more reading, work on your skills before you charge anyone, or work on someone elses car. This is a good place to learn though.

When doing a one step, what would you do in this situation?

This is kinda neat, Do two diffrent pads with an AIO, Have the owner pic what they like best. You repeat over entire car. Happy customer then pays hopefully leaving you a tip for your hard work.

    Which AIO

I would use XMT 360 or 151. Both offer decent correction along with protection. 151 is cheap and bought by the gallon. As far as staing trim, a little tape will elminate this with any product you use.

Poll: Pictures or Videos in Show and Shines

I am a fan of the photos, Both have there place in showing off work or reveiwing a product. Photos can be edited, But with a good dslr the photos will show alot more. I also feel photos a more professional. This is just my opinion. A quality photo elminates some the the stupid comments...

When doing a one step, what would you do in this situation?

It would depend on what the customer wanted. Whenever i am paid for a job, I always agree with the results that will be acheived. With AIO you will always have something left on the table. Swirl marks will never be 1005 removed, hazing will still be left. As long as you meet the agreed correction.

    Scratches aren't being removed.....

The more information about your method would help. It is hard to say why your still seeing swirls, Posting some pictures can also help anyone out in giving you some advice. Could you of got any dirt on your pads, You might not be working the product long enough, What is the car, you may be...

    Quick questions about one stepper

With 105, once it is in the sun you might have some holograming and marring. Honda paint is very soft and sometimes not to easy to finish down.

"Impressive"4-Way Wheel cleaner test & Tire Shine Comparison

I agree with your findings, After trying the GG wheel cleaner on very dity wheels to dusty ones. I am not very impressed with its cleaning powers. It does work good on lightly soiled wheels, but it does leaving something on the table. The cost is reasonable though. I have not used sonax but...
