idk how much difference a more aggressive clay makes but what clay are you using now?

lol well if you keep it black and want to do everything on the car fix what ever needs fixing, if the surrounding clear is still good no need to base over it just blend the base and coat the rest of the car with clear.

do you feel anything if you put your fingernail on it? the top paint looks like tiny rock chips lol

i haven't picked up the older dewalt in a long time but its definitely light then my old dynabrade. i love the piece on the head since thats where i hold it 90% of the time. the dial was something that caught my eye, very easy to quickly look down and see what speed you are at while polishing...
