Nice article Nick, reading it I have given a try on my car. It's a five year old & I have detailed her engine for first time. Though I was not having access to water hose & air for drying. Results are not amazing but definitely make some difference.

Thanks for reply. For first day I worked 10 hours & second day it was relaxed just three to four hour for polishing with some rest. Just got pain in finger tip for one day from next day it is fine.

Finally I have done it. Again all by hand. Still saving for tools. Two full days of job but hard work paid off. also posting the images of hand just to show how it look at the end of the day.
