Black Cherry Honda Del Sol

A few after shots of a paint correction on a Honda Del Sol I did a few weeks back. I think it's a 1995? It was repainted at some point black cherry metallic so it wasn't in horrible shape. Some minor to medium swirls, a few chips & no beading at all.

Washed w/ XMT Gel Shampoo (Original) w/ a little ONR thrown in for fun. Clayed. Corrected w/ Megs MF System & finished w/ XMT 180.

Sexy color! I love colors that appears to be black at a distance and its actually something else close up.
 
I like that more than black metallic.

Nice! I love seeing older cars like this shined up better than when they left the showroom floor. Great job!
 
Nice look. I had two of the cars back in the day; a black one and a red Si. The black one I bought new and ended up driving it to 125k miles until it needed a clutch and had low oil pressure. I ended up putting the clutch and a new oil pump on in my back yard and fixed it. Right after that I wrecked it. Then came the red one. Six months later I wrecked that one. Thet were neat little cars.

Wow! Survived not one but TWO wrecks in these tiny cars? Ur one lucky dude.

One of the wrecks I fell asleep at the wheel after being up all night doing god knows what ( this was 15 years ago). Hit a guy head on. Police came. I was thinking law suit. Until, they ran our info and they guy I hit was wanted for MURDER in Philadelphia. They arrested him and took me home.
