Best way to take care of rubber/plastic on new car

    Removing rust from steel rims

I don't think vinegar converts rust into a primer like the products made to do so claim. There are many different shapes of wire wheel to get different places also

    Removing rust from steel rims

Sand blast or wire wheel on an angle grinder are the best bets. If it's a somewhat high dollar car then use something from eastwood to inhibit rust, if not then get brown rustoleum primer in a pint can from lowes/walmart, thin with acetone and shoot that through an hvlp gun, then probably black...

    Home-made Laundry Detergent for Microfibers?

    What type of hose!?

Another pain about coiled hoses is that you cant lay them around an object, since they want to retract themselves they will pull tight and always touch the object. So you cannot go all the way around a car with one.

Question on using Iron X and other products?

For the wax over sealant question. If you choose to do that. Then you can get away with a quick detail or waterless wash the next day if you havent driven the car. If driven, do a rinseless. Or just wait 2-3 weeks to wash again and then wax over sealant.

    What type of hose!?

Coiled will kill water pressure. I only use mine when needing to connect my pw without wheeling the pw around. It just doesnt work for nozzles

    Agressive wash for Foamer

I am curious if it is possible to foam a vehicle and have road film removed. For me a pretreat with OPC 4:1 then foam with Cw&g did not remove regular 1 month old road film from a 1month old application of powerlock.
