Glazes & Jewels = Waste of time

Cool guys! Good feedback! I've just tried glazes a few times but it just didn't do anything for me, probably because I had my paint corrected pretty well. As for jeweling, I've honestly never tried it. I just asked people's opinions and from these responses it seems to be the same. I do have 2...

When to wash during a full correction

I find it easier to clean all the dust by doing a super quick wash after correcting. Otherwise there's bound to be dust on the wipers and all the panel gaps and that's not how I roll ;) Also I double the dosage of CG Citrus Wash to remove polishing oils.

Glazes & Jewels = Waste of time

Glazes and Jeweling Polishes. What are your guy's thoughts on these two types of products? I feel like these 2 are the most useless products, especially jeweling polishes. Why? Glazes provide little to no correction, but they do fill in defects to some degree. But if you are going to be...

    AutoGeek is a RIPOFF!

As much as I am geek about taking care of my car, isn't it kind of hypocritical that we point and laugh at the man that simply doesn't care? There will always be people who don't understand why we do the things we do and ridicule us, which is totally fine. Haters gonna hate. But when we...

    Hose Nozzle (Adams Firehose)

i personally like the hose nozzles that adjust spray pattern by how much you squeeze the trigger. they are the simplest design and cheap. larry kozilla also uses this in many of his videos.

There are a few things that make Dr. Pain's look more professional. 1. Font Border 2. Font Shadow 3. Top and bottom gradient 4. Consistency 5. Color Combination If you want to get crazier, you can work different tones in the font itself. Try to align all your words to either all be centered or...

Can it 'Fit In'?- PBL Diamond Coating

I haven't used PBL but to answer your question about whether it will fit between a coating and other more traditional LSPs, I think not. The cost of a coating job varies between 200-500 for 1 coat. Usually a bottle of xyz coating will be enough for 2 coats, thereby shrinking the material cost of...

Just Wet Sanded have a bunch of swirl marks.

benga, are you cleaning the area between each level of grit? i think it is crucial make sure to clean it thoroughly after each level of sandpaper. why? when you sand down with 1500 grit, there are essentially 1500 grit sized shards of your clear coat. if this is not removed, once you get into it...

Which wet/dry vacuum should I buy?

I would go with the rigid. Craftsman is more of a DIYer market, where as Rigid is more industrial and used by a lot of contractors. I tried a 5hp craftsman but then returned it and got myself a Rigid 4.5 (the one that looks like a box) and it was a dramatic difference in power, despite the fact...

SONAX Perfect finish OR Menzerna PF2500

I've compared Sonax PF with M205 side by side, same pads, pressure, and passes on a Honda S2000 Rio Yellow. Sonax cut way more and finished down finer than M205. The finish was perfect. Where as there were still very micro swirls left after the M205. I've never tried 2500, but I have FG400 and...

Alpine and JL Audio. Both top notch amplifiers before you start spending massive bank on brands like Focal. While a 4 channel amp is the best way to go, there's nothing wrong with a 2 channel.
