I can't comment on Blacklight specifically but I've used this on top of AIO's and a mish-mash of other spray sealants without any problems. A good quality AIO maintained with a durable spray sealant like BFSi02 is my go-to for daily drivers.

Poorboy's bug squash is a good one, I've also used dilute Poorboy's APC in a pinch but I wouldn't recommend it. I don't think the chemistry in any of these is anything special, the solution is the dilution. I'd guess that anything sold here for the purpose should be OK, just avoid anything...

How dirty does your car get? I'm going to assume you wash it pretty frequently. How dirty the car is and how fresh the LSP is (and how well it sheds dirt) are important too. I've used the towels in a bucket method Mike Phillips posted and it works great. I don't think you need super expensive...

Thanks for testing! This just tells me it's probably a good idea to add *something* to the car's paint after the first wash. I also like the idea topping the high impact areas from the get-go or even just adding a little spray sealant during wipe off.

This right here. I'll also judge on the baggie test, and the very subjective "how easy did that bird bomb/bug splat clean off after it sat for awhile." But if the product *starts* with great water beading and the beading degrades, then I just assume the product (and any other characteristics)...

What spray sealants play well with One Step? Either immediately after polishing or at the next wash, I'm indifferent. One Step will likely be my next AIO and I'm just brainstorming something to grab in tandem. -PNS -Fast Finish -Blackfire SiO2 -???

I know everyone's situation is unique but I find another ~$100 coating difficult to swallow in these times. That being said I'll be eyeing this for wheels since that is one place I think multi-year durability is pretty useful.
