How about just plain wood handle, rather then it being painted. I think the paint makes it slippery.

Try a razor blade, and some glass cleaner. And or a little apc/water mix and a razor blade

Like both Souveran and Fuzion, it is very easy to apply. And also easy to remove. I think you let it dry to a haze, then wipe off. It really brought out the flake in the pearl white I did with it.

Apply it while the weather is still warm out. It will help it soak in better, to remove dirt, and soften more.

you might want to look into the surbuf pads too. They really help with correcting the paint.

I have been using the Shmitt, since DTF II. I hold onto it, rather then put my hand in it.
