    Finally got my shirts done

I think I know what the problem is. They still look good though!

Never had this issue with interior details

We all have customers that don't understand exactly how things work. I still get customers that think, for example, that waxing will remove scratches and paint transfer on their vehicle. It's not that they're trying to get over on me, they simply don't know. You take the time to explain...

I messed up BIG TIME! Damage control

You have gas in Germany right? It won't hurt your paint either, otherwise they would let you pump it into your car and have it drip down the side.

    Subaru WRX Paint Issues

This was a car dealership that was trapped in some wormhole where it's still 1962?

I messed up BIG TIME! Damage control

That doesn't look like clear damage to me. Use something that will cut the adhesive for sure, like 3M Adhesive remover or gas. WD-40 isn't sticker remover. Worst case scenario, wet sand, compound and polish. I don't think that's a repaint.

To Prime or Not to Prime (and a question for Joe at Next Level Detailing)

I prime forced rotation pads and just use 4-5 drops on free spinning. With wool I tend to use a little more product just to try and knock down the lint a little.

I sure hope Rupes figures things out in the MKiii LHR model

I mean in fairness greasing the backing plate on a Rupes and the washer mod have been around for around 150 years so it's not like you stumbled onto some uncharted territory here.

Any one here a member of the Detailing Inner Circle?

Let's say I google "autogeek good deal detailing." I will get many hits both linking to autogeek and linking to people discussing autogeek. That's what I'm referring to. Except for the origin, there's zero link discussing it anywhere on the 'net. As for the AdWords management, I'm the same...

Any one here a member of the Detailing Inner Circle?

I'm not sure fishy is the term I'd use, but when all results lead back to the same point of origin, that to me says somebody that is just blasting the internet with backlinks. I understand that is how he is trying to get his site ranked, but there's simply no other results, which to me seems...

Any one here a member of the Detailing Inner Circle?

Good luck. The entire thing leads back to one website, a detailer in Seal Beach, CA and that whole thing leads to one of those internet hucksters that does real estate marketing. I wouldn't be surprised to find out they're related or he's backing the business because this guy obviously didn't...

Any one here a member of the Detailing Inner Circle?

You sound really dead set on joining and far be it from me to tell anybody how to spend their own money, so go for it.

Any one here a member of the Detailing Inner Circle?

Well that sounds like a scam and an absolute waste of money. For a couple hundred dollars a month you could probably get somebody to manage your Google AdWords for you. Because I'm going to tell you this, unless your other line of work is doing Google AdWords for a living (not Express, the...

Used DA polishers - what to look for?

I hope so. For that price, I'd buy a third as a spare.

Used DA polishers - what to look for?

Speaking of used polishers, I picked up a like new used 21 Mark II on eBay today for $272.

Used DA polishers - what to look for?

I've run my polishers through a ton of pads in the last year, I'm not sure that's a good indication of polisher life. I mean are we spending $400 on a Rupes to get 4 pads worth of use out of it?

    what do you charge?

I think that's the key. No matter what you think your time is worth, your time is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it. The area that I live is in wealthy, but it's more like blue collar wealthy, so I can't get Hollywood movie star money. I see guys in IG doing $25 washes because...

    what do you charge?

We have no package that doesn't include the windows inside and out and at a minimum a thorough wipe down and vacuum of the interior. And we don't use express wax of any type in any package.
