Try washing with a microfiber towel from AG that doesn't do any marring or put swirls on it.

Always use a high quality tape or pay the price.

If your doing this for a living then I recommended that you always tape the trim and area's that need it. You will save yourself dinero and keep your customers.

BTW, there's no debate on pads. They are have their purpose in detailing and finding the right one with the right polish will work for you very well.
