I have ordered APC and Degreaser and twice now the packages make it all the way to phoenix and UPS sends the box back to Autogeek. I received the first box of two, this one had some 205,ONR,and some brushes in it. The second box which was sent back would have been the one with the most in it such as Meguiars APC, degreaser, UTTG, Duragloss products, Finish Kare 425 amongst other things. Anyone else having this kind of luck with UPS or is it the Meguiars gallon bottles that just do not like to travel. It will wind up being 3 weeks total now before I see the rest of my order (hopefully). 1 week here, 1 week back to Florida and 1 week back to Arizona. Sorry just had to vent as this looks like it is becoming the normal routine.

I ordered APC+ from AG and it got to Texas fine... Well kind of fine. It had leaked on some towels I had ordered at the same time. It wasn't much because the bottle still looked full. All the towels in one paper bag had APC and you could see on the bag where it had spilled. I think I got lucky that more didn't spill. Not sure how it happened though

No explanation. In fact I had to go to UPS's site look at the shipping number which showed delivered and do some other clicking to find a line for the second box which stated
"returning to sender". On top of all this the day the first box was to be delivered it was delayed for the following day because they forgot to put it on the truck. SHEESH. I imagine the box was wet from a leaking bottle which made it a damaged shipment. That's an assumption tho.

Have you talked to AG customer service? this already happened to me twice for the same package, due to leaking of some liquids, for my case ARO. I told Ag i needed the package badly, so they assigned their best packer to my arrange my orders in the box and sent it through a 3 day delivery service. Just tell them your concern and they will adjust to your needs in any that they can.

Alot of times a package gets damaged in transit and the carrier will send it back and not even notify anyone till it arrives at the sender's business. Once it arrives they will take care of it for you.

My package looked like it had been drop kicked a few times. I think it's just the nature of shipping. Sometimes the best packaging isn't going to hold up to the abuse the box faces

Services just differs from area to area. For me UPS sucks. All my boxes always end up damaged. Lucky the contents inside is always fine. Just recently, I ordered a $160 mirror for my bathroom. It shipped UPS and while they didnt break the mirror it was damaged (dents and chips on the frame even though it was wrapped with styrofoam) from improper handling.

Fedex on the other hand is excellent. Never had any damaged items, or boxes from them.

I talked to customer service when box 1 of 2 was delivered and they advised me to wait a few days as the boxes may have been separated during shipping. I have not spoken to them since I found out box 2 was being returned. I assumed autogeek would want to see what was damaged before they repacked and shipped again. Not to sure about 3 day ground to Arizona with out a Lamborghini.

That really happens and I guess you just have to talk to the customer service and see what you can get from it.

I had one order messed up when it arrived with one of the wax polishers leaking probably due to some blow it incurred while in transit.

You can just report it and I am pretty sure that they will oblige.

Just an update, replacement package showed up today stuffed in pop corn and no damage.
Thanks Autogeek. Now I have some thing to work with. Total time from initial order was close to 3 weeks.

While it wasn't from Autogeek, today a package arrived via UPS and one side of the box was severely crushed. Fortunately it was a pillow that my wife orders so no damage was done.

The bottom line here is too many boxes are arriving damaged from UPS.... :nomore:

Yes, I also had damaged products arrive via UPS. Leaking bottles of liquid microfiber detergent that I got from Griot's Garage. From FedEx the delivery person dropped off my package next door to me, an elementary school. It sat there for a week while I went through all kinds of changes trying to track it down. We knock the U.S. Postal Service for inept and indifferent service, but it seems to me that they all have issues, government or private.

At least you know what happened to your second. My first order resulted in one of two packages being lost and UPS could not comprehend this to save their life. And when I called them and tried to find out why one package had been delivered and one was listed as being about 1000 miles away, they were quite rude.

Not to sure about 3 day ground to Arizona with out a Lamborghini.

Maybe Nick could hop into one of Max's "Hot Rods" and personally meet, or beat, the '3-day' deadline! :D

Yes...Often UPS' "delivery-system" sucks.

I have had very GOOD luck with both UPS and FedEx (knock on wood).

The only service I had any trouble with was DHL. They totally destroyed a shipment. Luckily I was actually at home when they tried to deliver it. I was standing at the tailgate of their truck when this little tiny delivery guy tried to unload it. I was able to see parts sticking out of the box and the box was crushed all along one side. So I told him not to even bother unloading it. I just refused delivery. And when I talked to the shipping dispatcher at the originating company he told me that it had been strapped to a pallet. DHL had removed it from the pallet to make it easier to ship, hence the destruction.
