This is a great question also. If you are using a rotary, a lot of detailers tape off the seams and high spots because that is where you can get burn through. Do you go back over these areas by hand? It seems that 1" and 1.5" are the most common sizes used, but I can also see the advantages to...

Those of you that masking tape off your car before polishing, what is the most common size that you would use? 1/2", 3/4" etc....

Does anyone have any opinions on Meguiars Hyper Dressing and All Season Dressing?

Where or how do you aim this unit? Can you aim it up so it will spread to the whole room?

I guess it really depends on where you are located and what you use your vehicle for, but the extra protection will never hurt.

That's what I am trying to get my garage to look like. Haven't succeed yet. Looks fantastic.
