    Wash & Wax Comparison

Well, it was work well done and all. But I don't know if I'd go so far as to call it a work of God. :p

    Whats your dream car?

I also completely agree with Gary. And I have a bit more to add... When I was younger I'd frequently think to myself, "If I only had (fill in the blank) I'd be satisfied forever." Then, as I began acquiring those material things that I thought would satisfy me forever, I realized that they do...

Edge Wool 8 inch vs 6 inch

I used the edge system with the rotary for a while but went back to velcro. I don't have any one particular reason for going back other than personal preference. Plus I already had a ton of perfectly good 6 1/2" velcro backed pads for the PC that I wanted to use with the rotary. I just find the...

    Rotary Pad question

I agree with this. Wool's much easier to work with.

    Wool Pad

I haven't used the CCS pads, but I have used the flat LC pads, and I figure they're similar. And, yes. The foamed wool is much easier to control. Really, the first time I used the foamed wool I wondered why I didn't try it sooner. It's a superior product for compounding. Easier to control...

    Mazdaspeed6 wash and wax

Thanks, super! I really enjoy taking pictures. Maybe someday I'll get a DSLR. But the camera I have now is still likely smarter than I am when it comes to taking pics. :p

    Mazdaspeed6 wash and wax

I've been neglecting my own car lately since I've been busy with customers. But today I finally had a chance to wash and wax my own car. The paint's still relatively swirl-free. No direct sun shots since the sun was going down..and it's my daily driver, so I know where work is needed. :) Just a...

    Wool Pad

I tried the LC foamed wool recently (via rotary) and was really impressed with the results. It's much easier (for me at least) to compound with the wool pad than a stiff foam pad - easier to work with, cuts faster, stays cooler. Great for swirl removal and it just required a pass of PO106FF with...

    Confused

I agree with this. I never had much luck with IP or FPII. The pro line works much better for me.

    Applying waxes - best practices?

I really like the blue foam pads CG sent me when I ordered Pete's 53'. I spritz them with QD before applying. WOWO. Works great for me.

    Megs Prof Series Polish/Compounds

When using a PC, PB's, Meg's and Opt all provide good results for me. However, when using a rotary I prefer the Opt line over the other two. I just find it easier to work with.

    2007 BMW 328Xi

I completely agree. I don't think it's a matter of speed, but a quality of being meticulous about your work. And that's a good thing. :) Thanks for all the pics, Nica. Car looks great!
