Going to a pro to learn

This is why I mentioned that said person seeking training should state his/ her reason for "...why they seek training." When you are upfront with your intentions, it seems to put everyone (the trainer and trainee) at ease. At least it seemed to for me. -Dellinger

Going to a pro to learn

Coopers, My advice would be to ask. It is AMAZING how the professional detailing community works. I've been involved with quite a few different professions in my first decade of work history and NONE of them compare to the genuine amiability of professional detailers. I've never been...

My first detail in two months this weekend:)

HateSwirls- Glad the back is getting better. However, do take it easy. My father had two discs fused about 20 years ago... it still bothers him today because he had to resume work as soon as he could walk again. At least you are going to be something you are enjoying... that surely helps...

    Need Help With Garage Lighting

That makes sense, Scott. (I didn't buy all the fixtures in my shop... the previous owner of the property left a bunch here and I made use of them!) Find the brightest headset light you can and invest in some rechargeable batteries if you haven't already. -Dellinger

Quick review Meg D151 vs HD Speed

tbnielsen- Excellent info. Yep, I was using a lot of 151 on the pad (4 nickle size drops... well, I tried it every way I could... a few drops, lotta drops, etc...) And, to boot, there was not ONE BIT of product left to wipe off... just dust. So, I finally figured out to slow the speed to 3...

Quick review Meg D151 vs HD Speed

Calendyr, Interesting feedback regarding your experiences with 151/ Speed. I have had the exact opposite findings. With D151... I had tremendous dusting on a 2004 GMC Yukon, beige metallic. Barely got 3 section passes with heavy pressure, fast arm speed and small sections (18"x18".) Was...
