Like mentioned above, Sonax makes an alcantara specific cleaner. It works really well! i would highly suggest you check it out and give it a try.

You will need a cleaner before applying this product. The only time you may not really need a cleaner is if your car is brand new, but even then I would wipe down the panels/seats before applying. A dedicated leather cleaner would work or an APC diluted for cleaning leather.

Have you corrected the chrome on the rear bumper, handles, and mirrors? I have a 2011 Silverado and the chrome is really swirled and I have not had any luck actually correcting them.

I'll have to order essence one of these days and give that a shot.

I don't see a need to apply more than one coat. I reapply every few months. At first, it seems to be more glossy than I would like, but by the next day it is a nice matte finish.

As others have mentioned, it won't come out completely. I use this: Wolfgang Pad Werks Polishing Pad Revitalizer. I'll let the pad soak in this for a day or two and remove as much sealant as I can from the pad and dedicate that pad to WGDGPS.

I have not used HD Speed, but I am always shocked at the results people are seeing with this product. It only took you 6 hours for the entire detail? Man am I slow. I detail my personal vehicle only and I take forever.

For my personal vehicle, I simply clean it with Meguiar's Glass Cleaner concentrate and two glass towels. When I clean windows on other vehicles that aren't cleaned very often, I'll clean the window first with IPA and a magic eraser. Then I'll go back with a glass cleaner and two towels.

My method as of lately is to dry with the metro master blaster. I then spray each panel with Uber rinseless at detail spray dilution via Kwazar compression sprayer. I then work the Uber detail spray in with Adam's great white drying towel.

I've used this soap in a foam cannon and honestly it isn't much different or different at all than any other soap. I'd use something more cost friendly, but since you already have a bunch I guess it doesn't make a huge difference.

I just purchased wet coat and I'm curious to try can coat. Do you know if can coat has the same properties of a coating? Does it have to be polished off before reapplying?
