    2 Gallons of Meg's Final Inspection $0.10

Well, I'm glad that some of you were able to snatch some up... Every year they have a sale on things like applicator pads, brushes, etc. for like pennies on the dollar. If they closeout all Mirror Glaze stuff, I may have to spend $2-3, and then Autogeek will get my business when I run out! It's...

    2 Gallons of Meg's Final Inspection $0.10

Hey Autogeek, I just went to my local auto parts store for some sanding discs, and noticed some Final Inspection on the clearance rack next to some of the discs I needed. So, out of curiosity I rang up my discs which turned out to be $0.05 a piece, and had a price check done on the Final...

Will 5.5" LC CCS Pads Fit on 5" Backing Plate

The heading pretty much sums it up... I am looking to order some pads on here, specifically a six-pack of Lake Country CCS 5.5" Pads for my PC. There is a 5" backing plate, and I prefer to get some feedback from all of you on fitment before I spend $40 on pads which may be too small... Thanks...

    Modern Marvels TV Show..Simonize GlassCoat

I have LOTS of experience with Simoniz Glasscoat, after working part-time at the Ford dealership which my father manages. It is mainly a feature of the Finance & Insurance office, which is a main source of income for the dealership by means of selling extra warranty coverage, and other perks...

    Vintage Car Detailing

Thanks for all that info, Mike! I appreciate it. My customer was extremely pleased. I completed the detail by 6:00 last night, so I wasn't able to read all of this beforehand... I wound up claying the car, then using Meguiars #2 Cleaner + PC and Megs 7000 cutting pad, followed by a #7 coat with...

    Best OTC Carpet Combo

It could! I'm thinking it is relative to when bath towels are air-dried, and are left super rough to the touch. I may have to look into a rubber brush to solve this. Also, it didn't feel soapy in the Fusion detail I performed earlier today. Granted, I took the advice here and added Simple Green...

Having some trouble with paint correction on this XLR

Was at Advance Auto Parts yesterday... I never realized how much M105 and M205 cost!! 105 was $38 and 205 was $41... How long does a bottle last? In terms of cars it will treat.

Flex locally for $275 w/8 CCS Pads. Good buy?

Hey guys, Here's a little background... I used one of those sears buffers for the first two years of my "detailing" business. The paint didn't come out worse, but no significant improvements could be seen. This made me shy of asking for my price (about $100) for the longest time. I figured...

    Best OTC Carpet Combo

To be honest, I have no idea... I have considered using a fabric softener, as it can sometimes be left with a rough texture from air drying. As far as a soapy feel, it is possible being that I don't extract. I will let you know on the next detail I do (today)

    Best OTC Carpet Combo

Hey guys, Up until recently, I couldn't find a good method of cleaning carpets, and felt that my service always lacked in this area... I was using Scotch Gard for auto interiors (the cleaner) and I decided to give some other products a try. At Wal-Mart, I picked up both Lifter-One and Tuff...

Having some trouble with paint correction on this XLR

I'd say go and grab some m105, and try it out... Understanding that you don't want to keep working on the same spot, it sounds to me like that is the only option you have left to get the car where you want it to be. This is what I would personally do... Good luck either way!!
