Love black cars. No where to hide bad technique on black paint. You either do it right, or it looks like crap
Don't jinx meHow ya think it looks so far?
Mike can you give me any tips on the DA micro-marring or hazing?
The tip is to avoid it and the way you do that is use pads and products that don't inflict it.

You may need a rotary buffer to correct that abused black finish.
Was at Advance Auto Parts yesterday... I never realized how much M105 and M205 cost!! 105 was $38 and 205 was $41... How long does a bottle last? In terms of cars it will treat.
105/205 at the local auto parts is crazy expensive. Most of the Meguiars stuff they sell is though. It is nice to know that I can run down the street and pick up pads and other stuff when I'm in a bind though
The hood looks great. I think you have it figured out. Remember to clean the pads often to avoid causing any hazing or marring.
I have the pad brush but what else should I do for cleaning between panels?
Awesome thanks Mike. If things pick up for me a pad washer is on the list for sureThere's a way to clean foam pads on the fly using a terry cloth towel and a "rolling" technique, I'll try to take a video to show you how.
You have to be careful though so you don't hurt yourself...
Then there's pad washers if you have one...
