    2005 Tundra - hit it w/some M205 this weekend.....finally

FOLLOW-UP to "2005 Tundra - hit it w/some M205 this weekend.....finally" In the original post I had polished the truck with 205 after wash and clay (Mothers). I had not decided on an lsp. See the "before" pics already posted. A couple days or so later I went with Griot's Paint Sealer, and 2...

    2005 Tundra - hit it w/some M205 this weekend.....finally

Thanks. The color does look nice when it's all spiffed up. And man, I got more stuff than I know what to with now. Probably 6 polishing pads, 3 wax pads, maybe a dozen Griot's microfibers of various colors, maybe 40-odd others (cheapies I guess) from auto parts stores, about 3 or 4 types of...

    2005 Tundra - hit it w/some M205 this weekend.....finally

Curses to you all - I was blissful in my ignorance, and then found this site. Joined. Lurked. Read. Bought a DA. Ordered stuff. Ordered more stuff. Unable to "see" cars and trucks anymore. Just see swirls and stuff. Like out in my driveway....... So, thanks all. Mine eyes have been...

    Swirl Removal

Noob weigh-in here: I sprang for a DA (GG) just to maintain our and grown daughters' cars. My regret is I didn't do this YEARS ago. You are in for a real treat. Spend the shipping time reading everything in, on, and around this forum.

Question after first time using Griots polisher.

Pure noob here that only does family vehicles, but would like to weigh in. To the OP - I have the concave on one of my pads. I would have had on 2 pads, but I learned that if you keep going and don't pay attention to the heat, in my case (Griot's orange pads) the pad went from the concave and...

Yer out there tryin' out a new polish under a 10x10 canopy, but it's so hot out anyway that your sweat drops are giving you noticeable added product work time..........

    Man...I'm In The Wrong Business!!!

I've had a handful of dings taken out and was happy to pay it. Couldn't tell where they were when the job was finished. There's gotta be as much art as science to it. My thought is that if the guy did your work in just a few minutes, the you got someone with experience and skill. I'd be...
