    Leather Help?

I'd personally try a gentle leather cleaner and spray it directly on a MF towel and wrap it around the wheel and gently twist. Follow up with a leather conditioner that dries to the touch and then wipe down with a dry towel. See if that fixes it. Texture/pore size could be different for...

What products/brands should Autogeek carry in 2016?

The big guys may seem late to the game on new products, but they do far more testing and dialing in of a product compared to the smaller guys racing to be first to market with something new. There is something to be said for really that IMO.

What products/brands should Autogeek carry in 2016?

Ask Larry for the MSDS, this is no different than say Meguiar's. Does it matter? if they are actually better? They are options. People like options. Is Blackfire worth the high pricetag? How about Wolfgang? ETC ETC. With that said it is my understanding that Larry wants to keep his products...

    AIO durability and correction

I'm a fan of BF Total Polish & Seal. Super easy to work with and decent longevity.

2010 Camaro Optimum Gloss Coat New Formula

This turned out nice. Was the syringe a little easier to control how much product you are using compared to the little bottles with the dribble tip that most other coatings use?

    REVIEW: Rinseless Wash Mitt

If you are using the Gary Dean wash method, then yes 1 bucket. Otherwise with a wash mitt you want a to treat it like a normal 2 bucket wash to prevent reintroducing contamination to your rinse less bucket.

    Wheel Cover question

There is one sprinkler that is right next to where I park in the driveway (Similar issue.... Not a golf cart, but a VW Golf sits in the single car garage) So I made a plastic cover for that sprinkler that stakes down. It doesn't cover it completely, just diverts anything that would spray onto...

Love the meguiars brand, but maybe want to try some new correction fluids

I'm not the biggest fan of FG400 or SF4000. The only two Menzerna products I have tried. I can deal with the strong solvent smell with them (who doesn't like huffing some good fumes from time to time?) But for some reason it gets gummy on me real quick. Could be climate, I don't feel like it is...

    Flex PE14-2-150 Shocking

I have had the PE14-2 on my list for a while now to pick up. Something to replace my aging Makita. I do however have the FLEX L3403 VRG Lightweight Rotary and it is an awesome machine as well.

    Volkswagen CC

Pick up some M100 and try that out instead of M105 :xyxthumbs: The work time is night and day difference and might be easier to get cut out of harder paints like the CC.

    Volkswagen CC

I just have trouble seeing it as that hard of a clear coat. I've never run into a VW with clear that fought me like you are talking about. And I've owned a lot of VW's and Audi's over the years. In fact I'm willing to take a broom to my hood to prove this as well. I'm willing to bet I can...

    Volkswagen CC

Same exact chassis as a Passat, just squished a bit at the roof. Even has the same dash. Rest of the interior is sportier. Early cars are 4 seaters too.

Except VW doesn't use a ceramic clear coat... The paint on them is hard, but it isn't that hard.

2013 Porsche 911 Turbo S Coated with WG Uber Ceramic Coating

Looks like you might need a little bit stronger of a cleaner on the leather seats. Otherwise the car looks really good. Hydro2 seems like it does really well on the wheels.

    Volkswagen CC

This is under the assumption that the car is used, and the dealer has touched it. As mentioned a few times already a test spot will show you what is needed. I didn't do a test spot on my car because I already had a good idea of what it would need and am very familiar with VW/Audi paint...

    Volkswagen CC

Good looking car! Yeah the top rubber sections can be a pain if you don't tape them up. Especially if you have the big moon roof. The seals on that are a pain. That combo should work out well for you. Meg's DA microfiber system works really well. I ended up doing mine initially with a flex...

I had to compound mine before polishing. What polisher are you using? Post some pictures up of the car and the condition of the paint and it will be easier to give you a recommendation.

Thanks Mike :dblthumb2: I've got some parts collecting in the garage for it. Now if only I could get the GTI off of jack stands :P

    Volkswagen CC

My CC the paint is about a 7/10 for paint hardness. As mentioned above some of the curvier parts of the car can be a bit difficult if you are new. I didn't find the rear quarters to be much of an issue, but the top of the trunk can be tricky. The bumpers are probably the most difficult to deal...
