Try wrapping the towel around the triangle attachment and scrubbing with the towel on it. You should pick up a ton of dirt. It shouldn't take minutes or scrubbing until you are out of water. Like this:

What is your technique? Are you just blasting the panel from 2 feet away or up close? Are you using the triangle attachment with a towel over it?

It all depends on which wax I am using. As long I can get the wax out of the container and onto a pad then I will use a machine. Sometimes I still enjoy doing it by hand on my own cars though.

I used this on my VW CC 2 months ago. The car sits outside 24/7 and it is still holding up no problem, and looks great. Is that a CC by chance you were putting that on? Rear valence looks familiar.

You can get some stuff by pre-soaking, but sometimes you just have to knock off the grit with a pressure washer first. At this point I usually pre-soak anyways. Try another shampoo if that one doesn't do what you want. Suds aren't the only indicator of lubricity or cleaning ability though. So...

The way I look at it is this: If the car is really dirty I will do a full wash with shampoo. If I am doing a maintenance wash then the rinseless is my go to. Rinseless is much quicker. Probably about half the time as a full wash. This is mostly due to not having to put away the hose, etc etc...

I dealt with this for over a year, and even now with access to a hose I still use rinseless washes unless the car is really dirty. If you have access to a DIY spray wash near you then I suggest blasting the car off with just rinse water, then bringing it home to perform the rinseless wash...

I have the same issue. The wand is a pain to maneuver into tighter places. And the hose is way too short. Although I haven't had issues with the nozzle clogging up at all.
