I caught this SOB car salesman trying to pull a fast one...

Yeah, having worked at a dealership in a few different positions.....not ever selling cars, but working their computer systems in college and just prepping cars in high school, I heard the term etching quite a bit around the salesmen (or the sales manager pushing them to get it added). Someone...

Video and Pictures - Two 1967 Camaro's - Show Car Makeovers!

Re: Video and Pictures - 1967 Camaro SS & 1941 Plymouth Coupe - Show Car Makeovers! I don't think the video quality through this player is doing the finish proper justice.

Video and Pictures - Two 1967 Camaro's - Show Car Makeovers!

Re: Video and Pictures - 1967 Camaro SS & 1941 Plymouth Coupe - Show Car Makeovers! Yeah, that's like night and day. Just did my wife's Forester today and applied VRP to all the black trim, much the same difference. Amazing products.

Video and Pictures - Two 1967 Camaro's - Show Car Makeovers!

Re: Video and Pictures - 1967 Camaro SS & 1941 Plymouth Coupe - Show Car Makeovers! This is crazy. Never watched one of these before. So many people, it's hard to pay attention to anyone that Mike isn't talking to. I just find myself watching him and whoever he's working with.

Video and Pictures - Two 1967 Camaro's - Show Car Makeovers!

Re: Video and Pictures - 1967 Camaro SS & 1941 Plymouth Coupe - Show Car Makeovers! Having just used some blue painters tape myself the other day, it really does peel up pretty easily. That said, I've never used the tape he was just describing from Meg's

Re: Video and Pictures - 1967 Camaro SS & 1941 Plymouth Coupe - Show Car Makeovers! Okay, kind of thought so with the black one, but the other I wasn't sure on at all.

Re: Video and Pictures - 1967 Camaro SS & 1941 Plymouth Coupe - Show Car Makeovers! Just popped in a few minutes ago. Is the '67 Camaro a factory paint job?

Tweet Tweet - Anyone here Tweet?

I literally just nuked my Twitter account yesterday afternoon. Received an email stating that the account may have been hacked. Looked it up, sure enough, someone used to post a bunch of spam. I've never had an account broke into before. I don't exactly use simple passwords as many people do...

The very first draft of my website, is online

Somethings I couldn't find on your website that I believe to be rather important: Where the hell in Ohio are you out of? What's your service area? That's about it. I love simplicity in service web sites, and that's achieved here. Maybe a page for some of the work you've done should be...

Paint abrasion, horrible touch up job

Thanks. Was very nervous about going at it with sandpaper, but something had to be done. And yea, I think a kit would better serve me in the future.

Paint abrasion, horrible touch up job

Okay, here it is. I think it went pretty well for the most part. Still can be seen from the right angle, but is mostly hidden. Yeah, it's always going to bug me to a degree, but maybe in the future with some different tools at my disposal (just a PC7424XP at the moment) I'll be able to really...

    The 370Z is gone!!

Nice, the article in C&D last month had some good praise for the 2013s (think it may have been more directly aimed at the Shelby GT500 version). I really like what Ford has done with reviving the old style, and newest versions look great. But yea, you really need an un-referenced username, lol.

Paint abrasion, horrible touch up job

Man, if only. Although maybe that'll happen one day. My wife is a big Disney World fan, and to my surprise, would be happy to have me go to your boot camp the next time we make a trip to Florida. That could happen sometime next year (won't work this year since our anniversary is just a few...

    Daytona Speed Master Wheel Brush

I have some superglue I can give a try. I guess coating at the bottom and around the sides should give it both metal and wood contact. Will give that a whirl, thanks for tip.

Paint abrasion, horrible touch up job

Looks like I have some reading to do, and sandpaper to buy. Will update when I get the nerve to go at it.

Paint abrasion, horrible touch up job

Guess I don't know a whole lot about wet sanding. Will need to read up and see if I can do this. New car, afraid to mess it up further.

Paint abrasion, horrible touch up job

So, I had a little abrasion on the rear of my car. Tried to fill it with my VW paint pen, but it took forever to get the paint to start coming out, and when it did, it rushed the surface. I tried to take off some excess, but it dried much faster than expected and I definitely made the whole...
