Daytona Speed Master Wheel Brush

Very happy with mine. Got both sizes on the BOGO and they are a real time saver.

I thought exactly the same thing as the OP before I got mine. I decided to try them when they were up on BOGO not too long ago.

Once I used it I kicked myself for not getting them sooner. They are worth every cent even at the normal price let alone if you can get them on BOGO. :dblthumb2:

Take this to the bank folks!

If there's a week-point to be had it's where the wire enters the handle. I think if the wire was stiffer these brushes would be much more forgiving and last allot longer.

Super bummed about this product. I did get the Juniors on BOGO, but I've only used the thing like 5 times, and I apply very little pressure as I don't require much agitating with clean wheels to start with.

A real let down that it already broke out the handle. You're comment couldn't be more true.

Frustrating. And sorry, I just realized how old the last post in this thread was, but didn't feel the need to create an all new thread for my issue.

A lot of the problem with the wire breaking at the handle like yours is when rinsing..Don't hold the handle and shake, with the weight of the water, this will cause stress on the handle. Grab the wire just above the handle and shake.

Hand the same Thing happen to mine after 4-5 uses. A few drops of gorilla super glue an screw the wire back in an now I've used it everyday over the past year (100s of rims) an never had the problem again. Hope this helps

I have some superglue I can give a try. I guess coating at the bottom and around the sides should give it both metal and wood contact. Will give that a whirl, thanks for tip.

I read this tip somewhere else and have been doing it ever since. My brush has been in service for over a year and still looks like new. I used to go through the cheaper wheel brushes every six months. I was uncertain about the price at first, but if it continues to hold up, it will actually turn out to be a bargain.

I have the speed brush an the detail brush. I like them but even with twisting I get splattered. I am thinking about trying some wheel woolies next.

You could always wrap some Gorilla tape over the handle where it meets the rod after the glue sets.

I really like the brush, however the splatter does get somewhat aggravating.

I just picked up the Wheel Woolies, but haven't used them enough to form an opinion. There is a lot of splatter with the Daytona. Since I mostly use regular car soap on the wheels, I just remember to not wear my best suit when I wash my car. If I use something harsher on the wheels I do wear eye protection and gloves.

I love mine. I am careful when scrubbing the wheels, it feels like the wire could be fragile (frageelah - it's Italian!).
