Am I over thinking it? Plus Stubborn Bird Poop...

Soak a towel with the rinse less wash solution and set it over the bird poop. Let the bird poop get "re-wet" by the solution for about 10 minutes and it should come right off.

Need help: polishing super sticky paint.

I saw a guy once make a diluted version of M205 by mixing some polish with ice water and then putting the bottle of that in an ice water bath between pad applications. I think he cooled the panels with ice water soaked towels as well. This was all that would work. I think it was on Nissan...

Be honest - how long would it take you to buff out this car? 1956 Dodge Lancer - Kustom car by Richard Zocchi

I would budget an honest 16 hours on this car. Compound with wool and rotary if it's really bad, otherwise G21 with microfiber pads. Polish with G21, white pads and my latest favorite polish is HD Polish. Seal with Blackfire AFPP. Curious to see how you do Mike :-p

    Dyer venting

If I were a homebuyer I wouldn't even consider a home that had a dryer venting anywhere other than outside the home. That's insane.

    Dyer venting

Shouldn't it vent to the outside? I wouldn't want that above my car...

    Detailer destroyed my leather seats?

It depends. I just did a Lexus SUV with tan leather. There was so much blue jeans dye transfer on them that it masked the true condition of the leather. The analine coating had worn off the bolsters where the driver's leg made contact when getting in and out of the car. I showed this to the...

    Paint Blemish Help

I'd agree. I recently debadged a silver Inifiniti G37 and the adhesive left stains on the paint. I wet sanded it down until it was almost unsafe to sand anymore and couldn't get rid of the blemish. I think your adhesive did the same thing.

Need help with scratches on a used car that I don't know how agressive I can be...

2014 Honda (known for crappy paint).... Third Car.... Meant for future drivers.... e) Live with it! For those rust spots you pictures, I've dealt with those before. When they're that small you can spray them with Iron-X or similar and repeat until all the rust is gone. Then just use a...

Is there a safe way to spot polish a ceramic coating with light scratches?

I wouldn't polish on PPF with anything abrasive, but that's just me.

    Boss MF pad issue

I had the same exact thing happen with my Boss MF pads. I change pads after every section pass, rotating though about 6 pads for the car, and blow them out with air after each section. It only happened to 2 of my pads though. I got in contact with Griots and they replaced the pads for me. Their...

    Newbie questions

I'm personally a big fan of the Blackfire line. The all finish paint protection is an excellent sealant that is super slick and long lasting. Other notably products are the all in one tire and trim, spray wax, and rinseless wash. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

What causes more paint damage? Sitting dirt or car cover?

I disagree with your ONR assessment, you can use it as a rinseless wash on some seriously dirty cars and it's very safe. It's a much better alternative than mineral deposits from a pressure washer which will etch the paint over time. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Detailing when on duty (first responders)?

Rinseless washes, if you get interrupted just throw a lid on the bucket and pick up where you left off later.

Wet Sanding: What did I do wrong?

From your process description, it looks like you did everything right: 3000-->5000-->105 with wool (and your rotary speeds seems very reasonable... If this is fresh paint then I think your last step was too aggressive. M205 tends to mar for me on softer paint and fresh paint is soft paint. I...
