No. More than likely you won't notice a difference. At least I didn't. Its supposed to dissipate heat and if you don't polish very often and switch out pads continuously it won't hurt to stick with your LC backing plates.

What I have found out using a silica infused shampoo is after washing the car dry it completely. After it is dry hit it with some water and it beads up nicely. Although, Im not talking about Bathe+ I would be curious to see if this works.

Prima Hydro Max is another excellent option. So easy to use and super slick. Months of protection. Apply it to wet or dry paint.

I haven't had great luck with 3d Adapt but the Towel Kleen, HD Polish, and BDX are other items I've tried and they are great and cheaper than most relative products in the same category
