Best tire dressing I've ever used was swissvax pneu, can't comment on whether it's good for off roading but it lasted a long time on my wrx.

Just pulled the trigger on a used canon s110. Excited, will post some pictures once I get it.

If the car was surgically clean then the rain drops should sheet off provided you're using a descent wax or sealer. There could be a minimal amount of dirt or dust on the surface that's "holding" the water in place.

Some people have recommended the Canon S110, do you have any experience with this unit?

I'll look into that tonight with the point and shoot, thanks very much for the info! I use my Iphone 5 and the girlfriend's canon elph110 (I believe, it is a cheaper model)

I never trusted waterless washes, maybe for vehicles that are barely dusty only.
