    A good auto repair forum?

This made me giggle. Thanks. If you are looking for a good site with plenty of research, suggestions etc. concerning motor oil, oil filters etc., Bobtheoilguy.com is a great resource and similar in tone to Autogeek's forum. As others have stated, you are bound to find a forum directly...

@Natewood... Your points are all well taken, and well written. That is what a forum is for, and luckily, we've all been able to express our viewpoints without offending anyone (you included). Between you, me and this keyboard, I like that you are passionate, and can express yourself without...

I am willing to entertain both sides of this conversation, and like to think I employ a good deal of "common sense"... Without the prediction of the date, does anyone doubt that technological advances up to this point in 2011 have the destructive power to effectively create "the end of the...

old megs 105 vs new 105

You are 100% correct. The newest (version 2) specifically states it is da friendly, and has an "icon" on the label that it is meant for da use. FWIW v2 has been out for a long time, and I'd bet there aren't very many v1 bottles around anymore.

I believe the label on the UTTG suggests using it on wheels. EDIT: FOUND DESCRIPTION SEE BELOW.. italic from Ultima's site: Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus is a new polymer coating that can be applied to most flexible surfaces (vinyl and rubber) and hard surfaces (plastic and metal) to coat...

    Noob needs advice

The one thing I'd like to add of importance, is the handles on the Griots and the PC are much different and something to consider. The Griots has a "bale" handle, and the PC has a traditional "angle grinder type" handle. The bale handle is a bit more comfortable (to me).

Just for those who were wondering...the 2012 references can be traced to the Mayan prophecies. They created a calendar based on astrological forecasts that scientists have a difficult time explaining, due to their advanced mathematics but and total lack of modern instruments. Their calendar...

I've heard of this theory before. My only opinion is, although Utopian, I hope that mankind wouldn't do these truly horrific things to each other.

car soap is glorified hair shampoo

In all honesty, I need something a little tougher than hair shampoo. My hair doesn't have road tar, road salt and bug splatter in it... Well, not today anyway. I know it is a stretch, considering the %'s, but chewing gum often contains carnauba wax.

I think I speak for the other guys when I say that we are just taking advantage of cheap jokes, and if V05 works, and you like the results... use it! (already been said, but I don't want the OP to take the kidding the wrong way, sometimes I do)
