    License Plate Frame Recmdtns

I bought a nice narrow chrome set to match the narrow chrome accents running all around the car from Advance Auto three years ago and they still look like new. The car is garaged though. I usually hit them with whatever wax/sealant I'm using on the body so maybe that helped keep them looking...

Windows, just clean or do you seal it too

I use the same WGDGPS that goes on the paint for the side and rear glass. The windshield stays nude. It does seem to keep them a bit cleaner. You mentioned salt - When I used to go fishing at the beach my car would get covered in salt residue from the breeze off the water, but since using WG...

Klasse All In One before Wolfgang 3.0 Sealer?

I've done KAIO and WGDGPS a few times, it looked great and seemed to hold up well. I've heard that the two german formulas are meant to be friendly, but I don't know it for sure.

    Headlight Care

I do them with WG sealant like the paint. I started with 303, went to Plexus (better), and now the WGDGPS. (best)

Fractured/Wrinkled Etching Popping up all over

I wonder if a glaze would help hide it? I had a repainted section of clear peel off the edge of the panel next to the tail light to where you could see the edge of the clear as a white line about a half inch long. I put a little touch up clear on it and now it's covered and that line is gone...

Just get a bucket lid and cut it like the pad cleaner one.

Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0

Yeah that third coat of KSG is the kicker. I don't see any difference from one to two, but number three really does the trick. The WG looks deeper, more like a "wax" than a sealant. That's what they were going for. It makes reflections slightly less crisp or sharp around the edges, but that's...

    WG3.0 over Klasse AIO

Sorry for the delay... Yeah the WG adds more depth. The KSG is shiny for sure but the WG looks more like a wax.

    wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant

Once I load up a pad with WGDG I put it on maybe two more times (much less) and then I can do the whole rest of the car with what's on the pad. As long as I can touch it with the back of my finger and the nail gets wet, I just keep on going. So say after the hood and roof, I drizzle a tiny bit...

    Detailing silver

My DD is metallic silver/grey and I had really great results with Menzerna polishes (intensive and Micro mostly) followed with KSG and WGDGPS or just the Wolfgang by itself. Reflections at night look like glass!

Putting together a detailing list, opinions wanted!

I believe the ONR is Optimum. I've used the Megs QD since getting into claying three years ago and it has served me well. It came in the Megs clay kit which I've also had good results with. I just do my own two cars though and a friends once. I'm about to do my first ever black car - an '09...

Wolfgang SG on top of Klasse HSG

About the cleaner longer thing: I posted in another thread recently that I go fishing often (saltwater) and the salt air breeze blowing over the car all day always left a gritty coating of salt on the car by the time I got home. I used about 2 different waxes and 2 sealants and it was always the...

Wolfgang SG on top of Klasse HSG

The KSG is really nice but as some people call it it's kind of a "candy coat" look. The WGDG gave more depth. Kind of a nuba look that the KSG doesn't have. I'm not really that picky, I'm pretty new to this detailing stuff, and my car is only a medium gray metallic so there's no black or red to...

Meg's Cleaner/Wax question that might suprise you!

I park my car down on a barrier beach to go fishing and each time it gets a coating of salt from the salt air blowing across it for hours. When I put on a fresh coat of WGDGPS I noticed that the salt no longer stuck to the car. It would come home feeling just as slick as when I left. No more...

Which one is better overall, Poorboy, Meguairs, Collinite or Pinnacle...?

You left out Wolfgang. I've been using their sealant for two years now and it's really great. Long lasting sealant with depth like a wax, and super easy to buff off. I've also been removing swirls with Menzerna polishes which are easy to use and work great, and WG makes a pre wax...

    Meguiars M21 2.0 vs Wolfgang DGPS 3.0

M21 was my first sealant. I used it for one year before switching to WGDGPS and there is no comparison. WG wins easily.

    Dakota Odor Bomb Trick

I have yet to find an odor that plain old full strength IPA won't kill. It's the main ingredient in all those pet store odor products too. It's a solvent and disinfectant so it kills and dissolves whatever is stinking. It even eliminates cigarette smoke odor. Just take 91% IPL, and spray it or...

Best way to remove Ice from windows

There's also these de-icer sprays for that really thick hard to scrape ice. Spray it on and wait for it to melt the ice to where you can scrape it easily. Don't know how safe they are though. I have used them a few times however.

    Need a good tire dressing

I use 303 on all rubber and also the dash. Plus it's available OTC at most boat supply stores. It's satin, doesn't sling, doesn't wash off in the rain, doesn't turn brown, and actually protects the rubber from sun, oxidizing, and rot. After I restore rubber trim with 303 I seal it in with...

Some Vintage Meguiar's Products from my Collection (Lots of pictures)

Hey that was the first car wax that I bought for my first new car. Circa 1983. My first used car just got my dads old can of turtle wax, but for my second car, a new one, I stepped up to Megs :xyxthumbs: .
