    Hydro tech pads vs ccs

Wow that's scary. Right to the primer?! I used the B&S mainly but I've also tried the Meg's MF pads but I'm still new on using the GG6 and trying to get more experience on my technique and procedures.

    Hydro tech pads vs ccs

I also have the Meg's MF, B&S MF, and LC Flats pads you listed and was deciding if I should grab some Hydro-tech pads to try out. Do you still use the Hydro-pads? I've heard the Crimson pad has poor durability.

    Question regarding Collinte 915 durability

A lot better. Took some pictures the other day of the beads I got from Vanilla Ice. The 915 beads a lot tighter from what I've seen.

    Question regarding Collinte 915 durability

I would think that using BF GEP would clean the paint and prep it for wax/sealant.... If you need to do an IPA wipedown I don't see a point in these pre-wax cleanser products that are available.

I am questionning my technique or my patience

Huh?? From what I've been reading and in all the videos I've seen one pass is left to right or up and down. Can someone confirm this

Polishing pal or CSS Euro Foam...

Thanks then I'll just get the polishing pal instead of the kit since I already have like 12 4inch B&S pads. Just curious when you bought your polishing pal what made you decide to get that instead of the CCS Euro foam pad

Polishing pal or CSS Euro Foam...

Also would I be able to use the handjobber/polishing pal with the 4inch B&S pads I already have?

Polishing pal or CSS Euro Foam...

I was wondering if anyone have used something like the HandJobber or the CCS Euro Foam Hand applicators. I'm thinking of picking either of these to do the areas I can't reach with my GG6 polisher or when I just want don't want to take out the polisher.

I am questionning my technique or my patience

I did my dads 2011 white corolla yesterday and had the same problem. I couldn't get it to swirl free gloss on the trunk when I did a test panel. I first tried Menz SF1500 with a yellow B&S pad with my GG polisher on speed 5 with 4 passes. Then I stepped up to Menz PG1000 with an orange pad with...

Who here DOES NOT like rinseless washes?

I still do both methods but the last week I just did a rinseless wash because the week before I did a traditional wash in the sun and got water spots everywhere. Rinseless wash is pretty good for weekly washes if you car isn't too dirty. If it is just hose it down first and do a rinseless wash...

When using mineral spirits do you mix it with water or just use it straight? I have a container left I had for years in the garage but it ain't sure if this stuff goes bad.

    applied wax too thick...

I'm striped it the other day with DAWN and OPC 3:1. I'm thinking of using my new GG polisher so I'm thinking of doing a light polish with Menz SF4000. Would I be able to go straight to a pre-wax cleanser like Mothers California Gold Pure Polish and then the Vanilla Ice or should I do a IPA...

    applied wax too thick...

I was just thinking about doing an ONR and putting another layer of wax on it. Kind of like layering it.

    applied wax too thick...

Yeah I followed the thread by about the finger swipe and it was still smudgy do I left that panel and did another panel. After that I just did the whole car because I didn't know it would be that difficult to remove.

    applied wax too thick...

Never thought of putting more to get it off. So it's been a day already now and it had rained. I'll wash the car Sunday and apply some more very thin and buff off again. Does that sound alright?
