    Attempt to compromise my account?

There's a lot of forums that have been under attack recently. No one is out to get you or this forum in particular, just a lot of spammer activity. Other forums were attacked as well.

Quite the mystery - How soft can clearcoat/fresh paint be?

Well as Bob says above, it shouldn't have holograms if you're using a DA. But for the fine scatches, Bob also gave another great tip which I forgot, sf4500 on a red wax pad can work to remove scratches as well. What you could do is get it to be perfect one time, and then put a coating on it...

Advice on Optimum Gloss Coat vs. A Brutal Winter

OP, I don't know what is light enough to polish the scratches out but leave the GC intact. In fact, I wonder if that is even possible. GC might be (personal guess, no scientific source) adding a few microns to the paint and even simple polishing takes off more than a few microns... My...

    Coating Failures X2

Completely agree with your post. And not only that, in my testing, clean and defect free paint actually sheeted way better than even Wolfgang Fuzion wax. So a clean surface actually beads and sheets much better than most people realize! My proof: Wolfgang Fuzion Review - Just Half A Test...
