Favorite beer, if not a beer drinker, favorite beverage in general.

My favorite beers are: 3F Zombie Dust, Modern Times Booming Rollers, and Creature Comforts Tropicalia. I do like all of the Bourbon County stout beers and try to buy them anytime I see them for sale, but the best beer I've ever had was Bottle Logic Ground State coffee stout.

    Best polisher for a beginner

The Griot's 3 inch was my first and it works well. Perfect for headlights too. Not good for large panels/jobs. I thought using to put collinite on thin would be smart and about halfway through I switched to a microfiber brick.

    Testing Meguiar's ENDURANCE Tire Gel

That's what I was thinking. I've switched to only used water based TD. CG Silk shine and PERL both diluted down 1:1 work really well. But then I prefer the satin new look over the glossy wet look. I used to use Megs stuff and Black Magic but the sling mess was too much. Black magic and PERL...

The cost of cars might only slightly relatively higher in comparison to the 60's and 70's but college cost and housing is way up.

Soap drying on black paint issue!

I don't, I pull my wet SUVs into the garage to dry. There are many QD/Spray wax products that boast that they can be used in sunlight though.

Soap drying on black paint issue!

Living in CA it's hard for the soap not to get a little dry at times on the sun side of the car. 75 degrees when I washed today. I usually dry the car with a QD or Megs D156 and the residue, if there is any, comes right off. Any of the forum brand, Chemical guys or Megs soaps will be easy to use...

Looking for alternative ways to clean floor matts...

I usually just spray mine down with some APC or Spray n Wash or whatever laundry spot cleaner we have Shout, Oxy clean ect and throw them in the washing machine on a hot water setting and allow them to air dry after. Works perfectly and no the little rubber teeth under the mats don't break off...

Is this a joke? BF Pro APC is $70/gallon?!?!?!

It's not gouging if you don't buy it. If the stuff doesn't sell at that price then they'll have to lower the price to make it sell.

    Collinite 845 problems.

I also have difficulty with 845 but still love using it. The areas that I allowed to dry I just sprayed some QD in it and wiped off. I no longer allow to dry. I apply it with a microfiber pad and WOWO method with equal results. I love the look and durability of 845 and to "cure" it after my...
