Another what coating choice (two metallic black cars)

Adding a third car to the mix. My in laws have a red Chevy Equinox. Means one bottle of even DIY coating won’t go for all three. Coming back to Phobic. How’s it appearance wise (still want the MINI to look as good as possible). I’d definitely have enough to do all of them with it

Out of DIY, Quartz, and Mohs, which is most likely to give me 3 years well maintained? Still not sure about that Clean by PIA that Klasse Act recommended ;) I kid

Know DIY doesn’t seem to be held in the highest esteem here, but Quartz vs DIY 5 year?

How much easier would the phobic be to the Quartz? Especially if I apply an extra layer? Wonder what the difference in durability would be between the two if applied optimally for each?

Another what coating choice (two metallic black cars)

Asked over on their facebook group, Bradley answered: if it’s prepped right, and applied like a traditional coating, 2 years maybe more if maintained well. You can apply multiple layers as well to extend durability a bit.

Yeah, hoping to get at least 2 years out of whatever I put on so I don’t have to go through all the prep once more.

Just as a reference, I have the primer coatings for Carpro, Gyeon, and DIY App. I have the panel prep for Carpro, Gyeon, and ADS.

Next month, I’ll be doing decon washes on the Maverick and aNavigator. I imagine the CQUK is still good (and performance bears that out). However, the CanCoat on the Lincoln is not performing and after 28 months I assume it’s gone. I also want to finally coat my Astro black MINI convertible. I’d...

    Washing in dry climate

It is dry here and I’m always so rushed when doing a hose wash. Have a couple of decon washes I need to do. A general question and a specific one… G. Any tips for doing a wash with hose/pressure washer in very dry climates? S. Are those inexpensive inline (with hose) DI(ish) filters any good?*...

Is this a good approach for brand new Maverick?

You might not need to polish if you use a clay towel.

Is this a good approach for brand new Maverick?

We enjoy our Mav. Instruct the dealership not to touch it at all! That’ll minimize the work you have to do. Plan seems ok but those who’ve done many more than I should be better judges.
